“Bound Among the Stars “by Jennifer Leeland and Mima is a collection of two works that put Sci-Fi romance at its very best. The two stories Commanded to Mate by Leeland and Bitter Gold by Mima are inspired by two childhood fairy tales: Beauty and the Beast and Rumpelstiltskin.

The first work Command to Mate is much like the story of Beauty and the Beast. This fantastic story is about two planets and their survival. A young girl is forced to marry a hideous creature in order to save her planet from attack. The alien she is to marry needs her in order to save his planet from a terrifying secret. Both characters are forced to see past the differences to save their homes. Command to Mate is a sensual and seductive story that shows the strength in differences and the ability to overlook physical appearances.

The second story Bitter Gold by Mima is absolutely captivating! Bitter Gold is taken from the story Rumpelstiltskin. An alien forced into sexual slavery finds peace within a deli girl’s kind heart. She is willing to commit the only way she can to save him, but the tables turn when she is captured. Now the only way he can save her is if she guesses his true name. Readers will be in awe at the love the two show for each other and the sacrifices they are willing to make. Bitter Gold is a fast paced sensual story that will have reader’s heads turning in terrifying delight.

Both stories ignite the imagination leaving readers relishing in their own adult fairy tale. Absolutely brilliant!
